Software Engineer (Angular)

Job Title: Software Engineer (Angular)

Job Summary:
As an Angular Developer, you will contribute to the entire Software Development lifecycle by maintaining existing applications, troubleshooting issues, and developing new software modules across multiple projects. You’ll design software components, propose new features, consult with stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers while working with a diverse team.

Key Skills and Experience in:

  • Angular (v2.0+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • Responsive/Adaptive Design for desktop and mobile
  • Code reviews for junior or offshore developers
  • Systems monitoring and application support
  • Additional skills (preferred):
    • Java, React, Spring, RESTful APIs, XML/JSON
    • Relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL, iSeries DB2), complex SQL writing
    • DevOps tools (GIT, JIRA, Bamboo), Node.js, Swagger, Postman
    • Log analyzers (Splunk), ElasticSearch, UML

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for application support.
  • Support the application lifecycle: design, develop, test, release, and maintain.
  • Collaborate with leaders and product owners to understand requirements.
  • Develop, test, and troubleshoot mission-critical applications.
  • Design database schemas and write clean, maintainable code.
  • Write unit/UI tests and implement CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analyze production issues and collaborate on resolutions.
  • Lead task assignment and review for junior/offshore developers.
  • Conduct new hire interviews and influence tool and standard decisions.
  • Address user questions and provide technical support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, and related frameworks/tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology, technical project management, and design patterns.
  • Experience with relational database design and DevOps tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
